Radiator Installation & Replacement in Sussex
New radiators, replacements, repositioning, and designer upgrades - supplied, fitted, and balanced by Gas Safe registered engineers (No. 966527) with fixed prices.
The Right Radiators, Properly Fitted
Radiators are often the forgotten half of a heating system. A modern boiler paired with corroded, undersized, or sludged-up radiators will never deliver the comfort or efficiency it should. Whether you need one rusty radiator swapped or a whole house upgraded, we supply and fit radiators that are correctly sized for each room.
We install everything from standard panel radiators to vertical and designer models, column radiators for period properties, and heated towel rails for bathrooms. Every installation includes thermostatic valves where wanted and a proper system balance afterwards, so heat is distributed evenly through the house.
Moving a radiator for a new kitchen layout or a renovation? We handle repositioning too, including the pipework alterations.
What's Included
Correct Sizing

Leak-Tested & Tidy
Every joint pressure-checked, and the work area left clean.
Signs a Radiator Needs Replacing
Cold patches at the bottom of a radiator usually mean sludge build-up - sometimes a power flush will restore it, but heavily corroded radiators are often beyond saving. Other signs include rust around valves and seams, regular bleeding that never quite fixes the problem, and radiators that stay cool while the rest of the system runs hot.
Radiators over 15-20 years old are also significantly less efficient than modern equivalents - newer designs produce more heat from the same footprint, which matters in smaller rooms.
Designer and Vertical Radiators
Vertical radiators have become hugely popular in Sussex homes - they free up wall space in kitchens and hallways where a conventional radiator won't fit. We supply and fit vertical, column, flat-panel, and anthracite designer ranges, and heated towel rails in chrome, black, and brushed finishes. If you've seen a specific model you like, send us the details and we'll quote to fit it.

Radiator Installation & Replacement FAQs
How much does it cost to replace a radiator?
It depends on the size and model - a straightforward like-for-like swap is one of our more affordable jobs, while designer and vertical radiators cost more for the unit itself. We'll always give you a fixed price up front either way.
Can you move a radiator to a different wall?
Yes. Repositioning involves extending or re-routing pipework, which is usually straightforward under suspended floors and a little more involved in concrete. We'll assess it and quote a fixed price.
Do I need to drain the whole heating system?
Not usually - for most single-radiator swaps we can isolate or freeze the pipework locally, which keeps the job quick and avoids disturbing the rest of the system.
How long does fitting a radiator take?
A like-for-like replacement typically takes one to two hours. Repositioned radiators or multiple replacements take longer - we'll confirm timings with your quote.
Will new radiators work with my old boiler?
Yes - radiators are compatible with any boiler. If anything, correctly sized new radiators reduce the strain on an older boiler. We'll flag it honestly if your boiler itself is the weak link.
