A Complete System, Designed for Your Home

Whether you're renovating a property with no existing heating, extending your home, or replacing a tired system that's decades old, a full central heating installation is a different job from a simple boiler swap - and it deserves proper design.

We start with a full heat-loss assessment of your property: room sizes, insulation, glazing, and hot water demand. From that we design a system with the right boiler output, correctly sized radiators for every room, and controls that let you heat only the rooms you're using.

Every installation is completed to Building Regulations, commissioned properly, and registered - and you get a Guaranteed Fixed Price before work begins, wherever you are in Sussex.

What a Full Installation Includes

Heat-Loss System Design

Every room calculated properly so radiators and boiler output match your home - no guesswork.

A-Rated Boiler

A new high-efficiency boiler from Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, or another leading brand.

Radiators & TRVs

Correctly sized radiators with thermostatic valves fitted in every room.

Smart Controls

Programmable or smart thermostat (Hive, Nest, or Tado) set up and demonstrated.

System Protection

Magnetic filter and chemical inhibitor included to protect the system from day one.

Commissioning & Certification

Full commissioning, Building Regulations notification, and warranty registration handled for you.

Full System vs Boiler Swap - Which Do You Need?

If your radiators heat evenly, your pipework is sound, and you're happy with your room comfort, a straightforward boiler replacement is usually all you need. A full system installation makes sense when there's no existing gas central heating, when you're extending or reconfiguring the property, or when the existing system is so old that radiators, pipework, and controls all need bringing up to standard together.

Not sure which side you fall on? Our survey is free and we'll give you an honest answer - plenty of customers who ask about full systems actually only need a boiler and a couple of radiators.

What Affects the Cost?

The main factors are the number of radiators, the boiler type and output, pipework runs (a new-build extension is simpler than retrofitting a Victorian terrace), and your choice of controls. After the survey you get a single fixed price covering everything - supply, installation, commissioning, and certification. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Central Heating Installation FAQs

How long does a full central heating installation take?

Typically 2 to 4 days depending on the size of the property and number of radiators. We'll give you an exact schedule with your quote, and we keep water off-time to a minimum each day.

Can you install heating in an extension?

Yes - extending an existing system into new rooms is very common. We'll check your current boiler has the capacity for the extra radiators, and advise if it needs upgrading.

Can different rooms be controlled separately?

Yes. At minimum every radiator gets a thermostatic valve. For larger homes we can design zoned systems so upstairs and downstairs - or individual rooms with smart TRVs - run on their own schedules.

Do you handle Building Regulations paperwork?

Yes, every installation is notified and certificated as part of the job. You'll receive the compliance certificate, which you'll need if you ever sell the property.

How disruptive is the work?

There's no way around some upheaval - floorboards up, carpets back - but we plan the job room by room, protect floors and furniture, and leave the house tidy at the end of every day.
